Departing the hotel after breakfast, we enjoy a drive via Marazion, with stunning views of St. Michaels Mount before arriving in Penzance for free time. A lively market town with a quirky, artist-inspired charm, the town’s market tradition can be traced back to the fourteenth century. It was also once an important fishing port and central to the tin trade. Today, Penzance is known for its coastal views, artistic influence and quirky architecture, including an art deco swimming pool, pirate- inspired pub and an Egyptian house. Continuing our journey via Newlyn to Mousehole, a charming, historic fishing village, often referred to as an artists paradise, with a picturesque harbour, and beautiful coastal scenery, explore the quaint streets, galleries, and local shops before returning to the hotel.

T oday after breakfast we journey down to the Lizard Point, one of the most unspoilt areas in Cornwall, with its stunning coastal scenery and unique geological features, where we make a break. Continuing our journey over the Goonhilly Downs to Gweek, passing the Seal Sanctuary, before returning to the hotel.

After breakfast, we enjoy a leisurely morning before our ferry crossing to St. Mawes. Enjoy a 20-minute journey on the St. Mawes Ferry, connecting the bustling maritime port of Falmouth to the old-world fishing village of St. Mawes, offering its visitors a scenic and tranquil escape from the fast-pace of modern life. Enjoy the wealth of hidden coves and beautiful gardens that enrich the Roseland Peninsula, along with wonderful golden beaches, known as some of the cleanest in the UK. We return by ferry to Falmouth in time to relax in the hotel before our evening meal.
