Description

North Devon and the Exmoor National Park is a delightful area to take a holiday, with its market towns, sleepy villages, rolling hills and golden beaches, as well as the wild moorlands of Exmoor.

Durrant House Hotel is superbly situated on the outskirts of the historic port of Bideford and overlooks the estuary. All of the en suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with TV , telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel offers a restaurant, bar, lounge and leisure facilities including a sauna, solarium, mini-gym and a beauty salon. A passenger lift serves all floors.

Itinerary

Day 1 -

Departing our local area we journey south with adequate comfort breaks en route to arrive at the 3-star Durrant House Hotel.

Day 2 -

Departing after breakfast we journey to Appledore, a historic fishing village with narrow winding streets and colourful houses. Continuing our journey we arrive in Westward Ho! A delightful village by the sea prior to returning to Bideford for free time to explore.

Day 3 -

Departing the hotel for a scenic drive through the Exmoor National Park including a visit to Lynton & Lymouth and the Valley of the Rocks.

Day 4 -

Today we journey to North Cornwall for a beautiful coastal drive via Clovelly and on to Bude where free time is available to take lunch, before continuing to Widemouth Bay. After lunch we travel inland to Holsworthy admiring the Devon countryside prior to returning to the hotel.
