Festive Sparkle by Weymouth Bay

Christmas Day –After a hearty breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Weymouth to delight in the festive spirit of the Christmas attractions, or if you prefer, relax in the hotel. Browse a wide selection of craft and food stalls. The festive stage provides continuous entertainment, from singing to dancing, alongside an interactive nativity scene and abundant gift shopping opportunities throughout the town’s markets and shops. In the afternoon, we board a beautifully decorated boat for a two-hour festive cruise filled with seasonal charm. Sip on warming mulled wine and enjoy a classic mince pie as you relax in the glow of twinkling Christmas lights and cosy décor. T ake in wonderful views of the Jurassic Coast and the surrounding seascape while celebrating the most magical time of year on the water, a truly memorable festive experience. We return to the hotel in time to relax before our old-fashioned Christmas Dinner, including crackers. Enjoy an evening of bingo and entertainment.

New Years Eve –After breakfast, we depart the hotel for a tour of the Dorset villages, visiting Bridport and West Bay. West Bay is a charming fishing village situated on one of the most dramatic stretches of the Jurassic Coast, offering stunning landscapes and breath-taking clifftop views. Its popularity has surged in recent years after serving as a key filming location for ITV’s hit drama Broadchurch, starring David Tennant and Olivia Colman. The return journey to the hotel takes us along a scenic coastal drive, via Abbot Swannery, the world’s only managed colony of free-flying mute swans. In the evening, enjoy the hotel’s version of a Hogmanay dinner and afterwards, bingo and a night of entertainment in the lounge. See the New Year in with a complimentary glass of bubbly and a mince pie, followed by Auld Lang Syne.

Departing the hotel after a leisurely breakfast we make our return journey, with a suitable comfort break en route, to arrive home approximately late afternoon.
