Itinerary

Departing our local area, we journey north making suitable breaks en route to our hotel in Drymen situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

After a leisurely breakfast, we journey to Balmaha, a picturesque village on the eastern shores of Loch Lomond, with a beautiful natural bay boasting views across the water to nearby Inchcailloch Island. Enjoy the visitor centre and discover what makes this loch and village on the edge of the Highlands so special. Leaving Balmaha, we return to the hotel for soup and sandwiches and free time, before our evening meal and entertainment.

Departing the hotel after breakfast we journey to Glasgow and its Christmas Market. In the heart of Scotland’s most vibrant city, Glasgow Christmas Market transforms George Square and St. Enoch Square into a festive wonderland. The market spans both squares, each with its unique charm. St. Enoch Square, one of Glasgow ’s central points, is home to more than 50 Christmas chalets and traders from across the globe, selling an array of artisan products, crafts and high-quality food and drink. Leaving Glasgow, we return to the hotel for Afternoon Tea and free time, before our evening meal and entertainment.

Departing the hotel with a packed lunch, we have a scenic drive through the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park to Aberfoyle, continuing to the Trossachs pier, where we board the SS Sir Walter Scott Steamship for our cruise with carolling and mulled wine on Loch Katrine. After our cruise, we return to the hotel for free time, before our evening meal and entertainment.

Departing the hotel after breakfast we make our return journey, with suitable comfort breaks en route, to arrive home approximately late afternoon.
