Winter Glow in the Heart of Bruges

A day at leisure to explore Bruges Christmas market celebrations, known as ‘Winter Glow’ ,. When winter arrives, Bruges turns into a fairytale, the smell of fresh waffles fills the air, and the canals sparkle with festive lights. Wander through the charming Christmas market, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, and soak up the cosy magic of one of Europe’s prettiest winter destinations.

Departing the hotel after breakfast, we enjoy a scenic drive into the Netherlands and the pretty town of Sluis where free time is available. Situated in the west of Zeeland- Flanders, Sluis is a majestic town, with shops, restaurants and bars aplenty. Enjoy the hearty atmosphere, the characteristic historic buildings, visit the Belfort – a Flemish clock-tower, situated at the very heart of this vibrant community or take a walk around the town walls to get a feel of its illustrious past.

Departing Bruges after breakfast, we journey to Calais with suitable comfort breaks en-route for our Eurotunnel crossing to Folkestone. On arrival in Folkestone, we continue our homeward journey to arrive mid evening.
