Itinerary

Departing from our local area, we travel north making suitable breaks en route to our hotel in Drymen situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This evening we have a welcome drinks reception, before our evening meal followed by entertainment.

Today we journey to Balloch and our visit to the Loch Lomond Shores visitor destination set on the southern tip of Loch Lomond in a beautiful setting. Free time will be available here to browse the shops and visit the café, before we enjoy the beautiful scenery on our included 45-minute cruise on Loch Lomond. After our visit we return to the hotel for soup and sandwiches and to enjoy free time, before our evening meal and entertainment.

Departing the hotel after breakfast, we journey to the lively and modern city of Glasgow, a cultural hot spot, boasting a wealth of art, culture and shopping, with everything to offer from high street stores and designer labels to speciality outlets for the more unique items. Returning to the hotel, we enjoy cream tea and free time, before our evening meal and entertainment.

After breakfast we journey to the Helix Park, home of The Kelpies – the largest equine sculptures in the world. Standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tonnes each, the magical Kelpies are a man-made wonder and a feat of engineering. View The Kelpies and enjoy the visitor centre, which has a gift shop, café and more information on The Kelpies themselves.

Departing the hotel after breakfast we make our return journey, with suitable comfort breaks en route, to arrive home approximately late afternoon.
