British & Canadian Sectors Today, we spend a day exploring the British and Canadian sectors of the Normandy Beaches. With our own knowledgeable guide, we can immerse ourselves in the incredible D-Day Landings. We will visit the British Normandy Memorial dedicated to soldiers who died under British command during the Normandy landings. Later we travel to Ouistreham and visit the museum at the restored Grand Bunker, part of the Atlantic Wall, the most powerful German coastal battery.

Caen & Caen Memorial Museum This morning, we travel into the centre of Caen with free time in the morning to explore. This afternoon, we visit the Caen Memorial Museum which tells the story of 20th century history in Europe by an innovative 360-degree film. Extra cost of £12.50 per person for audio guide, please advise at time of booking.

American Sector Another fascinating day today, this time exploring the American sector of the Normandy Beaches. With our knowledgeable guide, we visit the Airborne Museum at Sainte- Mère-Eglise which is dedicated to the American paratroopers engaged in the Normandy invasion of 1944. Later we visit German trenches & explore the WWII bunkers of Maisy Battery, Normandy’s best kept secret after being buried for 60 years!

After breakfast, we make our way to Calais, with a comfort break enroute before boarding the ship where we have included a meal on board. On disembarking in Dover, we continue our journey home to arrive early evening.
