Itinerary

Departing from our local area, we journey to Scotland with suitable comfort breaks en route, to arrive at the Fishers Hotel in Pitlochry.

Today is a free day to explore this picturesque town of Pitlochry with its many interesting shops and attractions, including the famous salmon ladder. For those who wish, we can organise a whisky distillery tour at an extra cost.

Departing the hotel after breakfast, we travel to the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, where we enjoy our included breath-taking journey on Scotland’s only funicular railway, the highest in the UK reaching the Ptarmigan building at over 1,097m above sea level. Re-joining the coach, we enjoy a scenic return journey to the hotel.

Departing the hotel, we take a spectacular scenic drive of Scotland’s Lochs and Glens following the River Tay and Loch Tay to Killin and the Falls of Dochart. Continuing our journey, we follow Loch Earn to Crieff and through the great glens of Scotland, including the Sma’ Glen.

Today we journey through the Pass of Killiecrankie to Blair Atholl and Blair Castle for our included visit. In the afternoon, we journey through Glen Errochty to Tummel Bridge, Loch Tummel and the Queens View, before returning to the hotel.

Departing the hotel after breakfast we make our return journey, with suitable comfort breaks en route, to arrive home approximately late afternoon.
