Winter Warmer in Cornwall

Departing the hotel after breakfast we enjoy a scenic drive to Watergate Bay, with its huge sandy beach and magnificent views, framed by the cliffs. Continuing our journey, we visit Padstow, a charming working fishing port surrounded by glorious sandy beaches. Free time is available here to explore, before returning to the hotel through the Cornish countryside.

After breakfast, we enjoy a tour of the local area from the comfort of our coach, before returning to the hotel for a traditional cream tea and afternoon at leisure.

Leaving the hotel we take a scenic tour across Cornwall via Carlyon Bay to Charlestown, known popularly as a filming location in the TV series Poldark. The village has remained largely unchanged since the late 18th century, enjoy strolling around the harbour, which has a unique history and remains a vibrant working port, with classic tall ships. Explore great places to eat and drink whilst enjoying the breath-taking views.

Departing the hotel after breakfast we make our return journey, with suitable comfort breaks en route, to arrive home approximately late afternoon.
