Itinerary

Departing from our local area we journey south to our holiday resort in Sidmouth with suitable comfort breaks en route.

A free day to explore and enjoy the many attractions that Sidmouth has to offer.

Today we travel to Ottery St. Mary, known as ‘Ottery ’ , is a charming town with a rich history. The town’s name derives from the River Otter which runs through it and the parish church dedicated to St. Mary. After our visit we travel to Honiton, a lively market town, famous for its lace and pottery and being regarded as the antiques capital of the south west. Continuing our journey via Sidford, a small village, before returning to Sidmouth.

Departing the hotel after breakfast we enjoy a nice journey to Exeter, Devon’s regional capital. It boasts an array of historic architecture, including Roman ruins, the historical Guildhall and most notable the magnificent St. Peters Cathedral. There are many cafes, bars and independent shops in the cobbled Gandy Street for you to enjoy before returning to Sidmouth.

Departing the hotel after breakfast we make our return journey, with suitable comfort breaks en route, to arrive home approximately late afternoon.
