Most of Ribble Valley is designated an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the River Ribble

to the Bowlands Fells, the area is the perfect destination for immersing yourself in stunning scenery.

Situated in the scenic surroundings of the Ribble Valley, the Foxfields Country Hotel, is nestled within 9 acres of beautiful, landscaped gardens located only minutes, away from the picturesque and historic town of Whalley. The bedrooms are en suite with bath and shower, flat screen TV , hairdryer, trouser press, hospitality tray and free Wi-Fi. Leisure facilities at the hotel include indoor pool, sauna, steam room and small gym. Please note the hotel does not have a lift. Ground floor rooms are available on request.

Itinerary

Day 1 -

Departing from our local area we journey into Lancashire with a comfort break en route prior to arriving at the Foxfields Country Hotel for our stay.

Day 2 -

After breakfast we journey to Oswaldtwistle Mill, where we have organised a tour of the beautiful undiscovered villages of Lancashire with a blue badge guide. After our tour we return to the Mill for free time before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 -

Departing the hotel after breakfast we travel to Lancaster, where we enjoy free time. The Medieval Castle and Georgian buildings tell stories of the city ’s industrious past, whilst cobbled streets and hidden squares house independent shops and quirky cafes. Leaving Lancaster, we enjoy a memorable scenic journey through the Trough of Bowland to Dunsop Bridge, a picturesque village, where we can enjoy a photo stop before returning to the hotel.

Day 4 -

Departing after breakfast we enjoy a scenic drive to the coast, where we make a break for our included soup and sandwich lunch, before returning to the hotel.
