Cricket St. Thomas Hotel is a Grade II listed Georgian manor set in Somerset next to the Devon border, a 30-minute drive to the Jurassic Coast. Accommodation includes historic suites in the original manor and contemporary rooms around the walled garden and courtyard. There are two dining rooms, a show theatre, plus historic lounges for relaxing, drinks, lunch and afternoon tea. The hotel has a bowling green, an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room and large gym. Traditional games in the grounds, historic tours of the property and gardener-led walks around the estate are favourites among guests. Itinerary

Day 1 -

Departing our local area, we journey south with suitable comfort breaks en route to our hotel at Cricket St. Thomas

Day 2 -

Departing the hotel after breakfast, we travel via Yeovil to Sherborne where free time is available to explore this attractive market town which is famous for its Abbey, Castle and its individual shops. After lunch we journey through beautiful countryside to Cerne Abbas, which is famous for its hillside Chalk Giant, prior to returning to the hotel.
