Today we journey through Corbridge to Hexham where we make a break for lunch. After lunch we make a scenic journey through the Slaley Forest to Blanchland where we make a break, after which we journey round the Derwent Reservoir prior to returning to the hotel.

Today we spend our day in Newcastle where we have included a city tour with Blue Badge guide to see all the sights. After the city tour, free time is available for you to do as you please. For those not wishing to spend time in Newcastle, in the afternoon there will be an opportunity to travel to the lovely resort of Tynemouth, where we make a break before returning to the hotel.

Today we journey north for our scenic drive to Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust Property extra cost for non members), near Rothbury. Cragside was Britain’s original smart home filled with Victorian gadgets for modern living. Free time will be available here to explore the house and gardens and for you to enjoy lunch.

Departing the hotel after a leisurely breakfast, we make our return journey with suitable comfort breaks en route to arrive home late afternoon.
